It is a study on the book of Nehemiah, who completely rebuilt the shattered walls of a city in 52 days. As a result, he brought drastic, positive change to the lives of that generation of Israelites, and had a world-changing impact in the generations to come.
The most amazing part of the story is when you think about what Nehemiah was NOT:
- He was NOT a professional wall builder.
- He was NOT a great leader
- He was NOT a rich or influential man.
- He was NOT a prophet.
- He was NOT a priest.
He WAS broken. Broken for his country, for his friends and family, and for his God's kingdom.
